London Labour & Activist Collective Project

DRAFT: this group is currently for continued discussion from the London and District Labour Council session on Saturday May 20th/08.

1) get interested people/parties on the discussion group.

2) the name game: what should our endeavour be called? The title of the group put up is just to get the ball rolling.

3) sharing resources: brainstorming. (ie) what would help your group/organization? What does your group/organization have enough to share? ect. (this should help us find our 'mandate' - that could be as simple as providing available/extra resources/networking with each other)

4) when should we meet again?

These are just some suggestions: pls throw ideas on the table!

Noted: at this point I have made this discussion group 'moderated' That means that only people who have been approved can see and/or take part in the discussion.

if you have any problems signing up for this group pls contact myself (dhilton2@uwo.ca) or the site administrators.

LondonCommons is changing again, but this time in a rather huge way. My company, Figure and Ground New Media, is undergoing the construction of a new LondonCommons. LondonCommons.ca will be an entirely new site not unlike but not related to LondonCommons.net except in name. Everything from site design, structure and policy will be different. The current site, LondonCommons.net, and all its contents, will be phased out of existence in roughly two weeks from now as we undergo closed beta-testing of LondonCommons.ca. I urge you to copy any content you wish to have access to now. If you'd like to be apart of the closed beta please email me at londoncommonsbeta@gmail.com.  read more »
